On August 29th, Mount Tavurvur erupted off the coast of Papua New Guinea.

That same day, Queensland resident Linda McNamara happened to be filming the event from a boat.

In the incredible footage, you can see the volcano erupt sending a massive shockwave out that visibly moves the clouds above it.

What happens next is both thrilling and a bit terrifying but you need to have your sound on to believe it.
